Experience:
I've spent my entire teen-hood (summers, evenings and week-ends) taking care of children in the neighbourhood, all from less than 1 year to almost 13 years of age. My mother-in-law cares for children professionally so I've been lucky to spend time with her and her "kids" and learn effective skills for caring for little ones of all ages. As an intelligent, mature young adult I feel I posess all the necessary qualities that allow me to learn each parents parenting styles, values and ideals and to effectively implement those values while being responsible to care for children when their parents can't be around.
